- If walk-up service or take out service is provided, locate the Take Out Counter near main lobby, but don’t create a conflict between the dine-in customers, waiting areas and take-out customers
- Design restrooms that visually always look clean, are ADA compliant and to minimize construction costs try to centralize plumbing
- Keep back house functions flowing efficiently to the service entry
- Remember that the kitchen is often the hub of activity
