Cinnaholic is an American bakery franchise known for its made-to-order sweets, particularly its gourmet vegan cinnamon rolls. As of February 2020, Cinnaholic operates 40 bakeries across the US and Canada. In California, a first time franchisee was taking over an existing quick service space that had shut its doors and sat vacant for some time. The franchisee needed an expert to handle obtaining approvals and perform the build-out so they could focus on their day job and family.
Tasked with the turn-key design and build of the interior, SCGWest established preliminary budgets, aligned the construction team, met with the City of Tustin and obtained funding and permitting approvals. The team presented ideas to keep existing elements in place to save costs and speed up construction, without affecting the overall look and feel of the franchise.
