As a young professional with a passion for commercial real estate, Alana currently serves as the Marketing Coordinator for SCGWest.
With executive direction, Alana develops and implements meaningful marketing campaigns that promote SCGWest’s services. By creating engaging content and employing strategic scheduling techniques, she fosters audience engagement on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Utilizing SEO best practices, Alana also curates editorial content, including blogs, video blogs, press releases, and case studies, to improve SCGWest’s online visibility and authority.
Prior to joining SCGWest, Alana fine-tuned her critical thinking and communication skills as a Client Services Associate at AlphaSights. As a key liaison between private equity clients and global business advisors, she honed her ability to recruit and deliver expert consultants efficiently.
Alana’s primary research and reporting skills are due to her role in community archiving, having served as an intern for UCI Libraries. Through training in ethnography and qualitative research ethics, she conducted oral interviews and wrote impactful contributions for a published archive, highlighting inequality and public health disparities among various minority groups.
Alana holds a degree in Urban Studies from the University of California, Irvine, with a focus on Community and Regional Planning. In her free time, she enjoys watching animated films, trying new restaurants, and taking HIIT classes to supplement her weight training.
